To reverse a movie clip you need to use the "Edit Clip" feature.
To access the "Edit Clip" utility you need to click on the "Edit" button at the bottom-left of FadeToBlack, just under the preview window as shown in the below diagram.
The screen should then show the "Edit Clip" feature on the right hand side of the screen as shown in the next diagram.
You will need to find the area used for the stretching labeled "Stretch".
Here you are shown how many frames there are next to "from". Next to "to" you can enter how many frames you wish to stretch it to, either by entering the number of frames or entering the new time of the clip in seconds.
Now click the "Apply" button, and the clip will be re-sampled to the number of frames or time of the clip that you specified.
